We are pleased to say that, renowned poet, Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill will be judging the writing competition this year.
Tá an comórtas scríbhneoireachta 2015 dúnta anois. Míle buíochas le bhur n-iontrálacha. Fógrófar na torthaí ag an oíche fhilíochta le linn na Féile Ealaíon.
The 2015 Writing Competition has now closed. Thanks for all the entries. The results will be announced at the poetry night during the Arts festival.

The 2015 Writing competition is now open for entries. As usual there will be two categories – Poetry and Short story. the closing date will be 1st October. Have a look at the Rules page for more information.
The winners of the 2014 Short Story competition, again selected by Biddy Jenkinson are:
1st Prize: Thíos Tigh an tSagairt by Áine Máire Chadwick, Nothumberland
2nd Prize: Na Cottages by Antoine Mac an Rí, Buxton

2nd Prize: Uisce Fuar Cuimhne by Simon Duffy, Manchester

The results of the Prose and Poetry competitions will be announced tonight at the poetry reading by Derry O’Sullivan. Derry has been judging the poetry section while the prose has been judged by MILG committee member James Byrne.
